WHERE WE HAVE BEEN
The Fellowship Community Church of Mechanicsville began with a simple premise - preaching the Word of God is powerful.
​
As the Church grew from the seeds that were planted in the Summer of 2010, the preaching of God's Word has not stopped changing lives and grounding people as only it can.
​
"Preaching the Word of God...and watching for the miraculous" has been the motto of the Church since its beginning.
​
And the miraculous has never stopped!

There is power in the word and each week we let that power teach us.

As Timothy says in II Timothy 3:16:
​
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
​
"To teach us what is true..." in this broken world we need truth like never before.
​
"To make us realize what is wrong in our lives..." we need to see the way past our troubles and problems - God's word helps us to do that.
​
"It corrects us when we are wrong..." when we think we are right (in our own eyes) God's word leads us to see our real condition
​
"Teaches us to do what is right..." God's word leads us - when we let it - we are blessed!
STRANGERS AND SOJOURNERS
The Fellowship Community Church held services in rented facilities over the years.
​
Not having a "church home" so to speak - the "FCC House" was purchased to provide that place where the groups of the church could thrive and grow.
​
The quest for a "home" came to fruition in late 2020 when the opportunity presented itself to purchase a truly miraculous facility. More than could have ever been imagined - not a problem for the God we serve.

In April, 2021 - the new beginnings began.

Our new location continually reminds us of the miraculous that God places in our lives every day.
